Sofia Färnqvist

Sofia is Swedish and she has always loved hair. After she finished her hairdressing studies she worked at a large fashionable hair salon in Sweden for 5 years. She specialises in teaching and hair and makeup for events, fashion shows and bridal hair styling. She now combines teaching at the Academy with her work in Anthony’s Gotico salon.

Kyle Shull

Kyle is an American and after attaining a degree in Marketing at Western Michigan University and working several years in Advertising he realized his true passion was hair and began studying in New York City. He lived in London for 3 years working in salons in both Soho and Notting Hill. He has lived in Barcelona for the past 2 years and is the Manager at the Anthony Llobet Raval salon. In his career Kyle has had the opportunity to work in all facets of the hairdressing industry including working with celebrity clients, on film sets, and doing bridal hair.

Emma Kareliussen, Creative Director

Emma is Swedish and has lived in Barcelona for the past 12 years and has more than 20 years experience in her field. She has worked all over the world, from Stockholm to London and Dubai, and is currently running the Anthony Llobet Raval salon where she is part owner. Emma is constantly on the look out for new professional challenges and she regularly collaborates at the New York and Madrid Fashion Weeks. She initiated the hairdressing stand at the Lost and Found and Fleamarket markets and this year she partnered up with RayBan sunglasses to cut hair at the Primavera Sound Music Festival.

Anthony Llobet, Director

Anthony is of Anglo-Catalan descent with over 25 years experience in hairdressing. He grew up in London where he trained with the best at top salons. He opened his own salon in Gracia in 2000, which was an instant success. Anthony is currently Ambassador for TRESemmé Spain and regularly travels with his team to style at fashion shows, catwalks, TV and photo shoots.
